Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly change the direction of a hydraulic fluid in a stator by structure reduced in the number of part items and reduced in a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This stator assembly is used for a torque converter 1 including an impeller 11 and a turbine 12, and is provided with the stator 13 and a one- way clutch 25. The stator 13 has an annular shell 20 and plural blades 21 formed in its outer circumference. The one-way clutch 25 forms a flow straightening part 27b near the shell of the stator 13.
