Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation ridge capable of sufficiently enduring stormwater blown in by strong wind while securing the sufficient amount of ventilation. SOLUTION: In the ventilation ridge composed of an approximately chevron- like ridge plate member 1 and two throating members 2, a cut-off guard 5 is newly mounted within the throating member 2, and a plurality of air holes 26 are longitudinally drilled at the corner part formed by the front wall 22 and an upper plate 23 of the throating member 2. A drain guide hole 51 is drilled in the base part of the cut-off guard 5 for the purpose of preventing the drilling position of the hole 51 from corresponding to that of a louver-like ventilating opening 14.
