PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inter-network relay system that can efficiently provide specific services of each network to each terminal to allow each terminal to conduct communication in the case of the communication between the terminals belonging to different network architectures or networks adopting different protocols. SOLUTION: This invention provides the relay system 1 interconnecting networks 2, 3. The relay system 1 respectively interprets information specified by each protocol of the connected networks 2, 3 and acts like a node belonging to the networks 2, 3, converts a protocol format used by the network 2 into a protocol format used by the network 3, generates a sender terminal address belonging to the network 2, a sender terminal address belonging to the network 3, and a table 7A cross-referencing services of the networks 2, 3, matches the services between the networks 2, 3 on the basis of this table and provides the services after the matching to the terminals.
