Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize and lighten an oil tank of a dry sump lubrication device. SOLUTION: The oil tank 20 of the dry sump lubrication device constituted as a separate body is installed on a front surface of a front case cover 11 constituting a crankcase divided in the longitudinal direction. An efficient capacity part 74 in which oil delivered by a scavenging pump from the crankcase side and cooled by an oil cooler is stored is provided in the oil tank 20, and its bottom part is connected to a feed pump on the crankcase side by an outlet passage 88. Additionally, a tank side pipe part 80 passing through to the rear of the oil tank 20 is integrally provided at an upper position of an oil level L1 of the oil tank 20, and an overflow passage 87 is formed by connecting it to a crankcase side pipe part 83 integrally provided with an upper part of the front case cover 11. The overflow passage 87 functions as a same pressure passage to make the inside of the oil tank 20 and the crankcase inside in the same pressure and speedily flows oil overflowed in the oil tank 20 to the inside of the crankcase from the upper part of the front case cover 11. |
