PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving the durability of the cosmetic effect and/or care effect of an oil phase containing cosmetic composition. SOLUTION: The method comprises a process compounding an oil phase with at least one kind of linear or cyclic polyorganosiloxane. The polyorganosiloxane contains at least two organosiloxy units, and at least two side chain groups and/or terminal groups each capable of forming one or more partner groups and at least one hydrogen bonding. The method can be used for improving the durability of the coloring effect and/or luster of a lipstick, a mascara or an eyeliner, or for improving the durability of the mat effect and/or coloring effect of a foundation, a powder, a cheek rouge, an eye shadow or a body makeup.
