Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high-speed planting excellent in work efficiency by installing two seedling-planting claws in a single rotary case and making the two claws perform planting operations without interfering in each other during the rotation of the rotary case. SOLUTION: A vegetable transplanter is equipped with a seedling-planting apparatus 18 for planting a row of seedlings with two seedling-planting claws 25 as a pair which are different by 180 degrees in a phase on an identical locus from each other, and also is equipped with a rotary case 48 rotating on a central driving shaft 49 as a center and with two crank arms 62, 63 for supporting the two claws 35 in an openable and connected condition to output shafts 60, 61 on both end sides of the rotary case 48. A space D is formed to prevent interference between the two claws 25 in most approached condition during the rotation of the rotary case 48.
