Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk drive which stably reproduces information even if a radial tilt is made and never erases information on adjacent tracks during recording. SOLUTION: A 2nd TE signal is detected on the basis of the difference in the amplitude of a totally reflected light quantity signal (output of adder 130) when a light beam passes on a 1st pit array formed shifting in one direction perpendicular to the tracks of a disk and a 2nd pit array formed shifting in the other direction perpendicular to the tracks to correct a TE signal (output of subtracter 125) by a push-pull method.
