SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor with a photosensitive layer on an electrically conductive substrate, the photosensitive layer contains an electric charge generating material, an electric charge transferring material having >70 ( ) calculated value (αcal of polarizability α by structure optimizing calculation using semiempirical molecular orbital calculation using PM3 parameter and <1.8 (D) calculated value Pcal of dipole moment P by the structure optimizing calculation and a compound having 50% transmittance at a longer wavelength than the electric charge transferring material.
