Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission capable of constituting an operating mechanism part, by a little change relating to a change of specification of a speed change gear part. SOLUTION: This invention is suited for an MT type transmission including an actuator of hydraulic type, electric type, etc., in an operating mechanism part 19 performing a speed change of a speed change mechanism part 18, so as to actuate a shift select member 1, which is a main element of the operating mechanism part 19, by a cam member 45 having a selecting groove 48 and a shifting groove 49. This cam member 45 is formed, as a drive part 41, into a separate unit from a main unit casing 42 of the transmission, so that only a change or the like of the selecting and shifting grooves 48, 49 of the cam member 45 can cope with a change of an operating pattern in the operating mechanism part 19 accompanied by a change of specification in the speed change mechanism part 18.
