Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refractory brick which is excellent in corrosion resistance, spalling resistance and coating fixability in comparison with a conventional magnesia-alumina-based spinel brick and which is free from chromium, thereby it exhibits enhanced durability as a brick for a cement kiln and has a wider range of application. SOLUTION: The magnesia-alumina-based spinel brick is obtained from a raw material which contains, as main raw materials, a magnesia-based raw material and a magnesia-alumina-based spinel raw material and, as a subsidiary raw material, a magnesia-alumina-based spinel raw material containing 10 to 20 wt.% Fe2O3. |
