Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood structure capable of suppressing local deformation in spite of its lightness and being reliably bend-deformed at a head-on collision. SOLUTION: An inner panel 5 is provided with a fitting section 11 of a hinge 7, a fragile section 13 nearly at the center section in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body, a fitting section 15 of a lock member 9, a working face section 17 of bumper rubber located between the fragile section 13 and the fitting section 15 of the lock member 9, a reinforce section 19 on the peripheral edge of a hood 1 for connecting the fitting section 11 of the hinge 7, the fragile section 13, the fitting section 15 of the lock member 9, and the working face section 17 of bumper rubber, a flared energy absorption section 23 where an apex section 97 is kept in contact with an outer panel 3, and connecting ribs 101 and 107 connecting the reinforce section 19 and the slope section 99 of the energy absorption section 23. |
