Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drilling method for a composite material that can typically reduce the number of cutting tools, simplify the step of cutting, reduce chips and stabilize quality. SOLUTION: The drilling method for drilling a hole of a desired bore in a composite material has the first step of mounting a drilling machine with a cutting edge with a locus of rotation along the circumference of the hole of the desired bore in the composite material so that the cutting edge is opposed to the composite material and next rotating the drilling machine at a preset given rotating speed, and the second step of lowering the cutting edge at a preset given feed speed to provide cutting until it passes through the circumference of the hole of the desired bore in the composite material.
