SOLUTION: This merchandise information perusal system is provided with an information provision device 3 for receiving the amount of food with the valid period at least for each sales place and the valid period from a merchandise information management device 1 and provides price information for indicating that the price of the food is lowered when the valid period of the food becomes a prescribed period or less. A customer accesses the information provision device 3 through a perusal device 4 and obtains the price information of the food for each sales place.
