Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unauthorized file access from a user program, while providing the file input/output function of low overhead to the user program without going through the intermediary of an OS. SOLUTION: A secondary storage device 20 generates a token at file open processing, registers it together with the file identifier of an opened file and reports the token to the user program. The user program records the reported token, while pairing it with the file identifier and dispatches the token together with the file identifier when performing input/output processing for the unit of file. The secondary storage device 20, to which the input/output for the unit of file is requested, confirms whether the designated pair of file identifier and token is registered, and when such a pair is registered, file input/output processing is performed and when the pair is not registered, input/output processing is not performed.
