Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic laminate having high magnetic permeability, even in a high-frequency region and a high saturation magnetic flux density, and to provide a method for manufacturing the laminate. SOLUTION: The magnetic laminate is manufactured, in such a way that metal magnetic layers and ion oxide magnetic layers are laminated alternately upon another and the temperature of the laminate is raised to a prescribed value, while the body is pressurized from the direction of lamination. Then, the metal and iron oxide magnetic layers are jointed firmly to each other by generating discharge plasma by intermittently impressing a DC current upon the laminate in a high-temperature atmosphere, while the laminate is pressurized from the direction of lamination.
