Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma image screen with a high intensity, especially, a commonly arranged AC plasma image screen for the plasma image screen. SOLUTION: A UV light emission layer 8 is formed on a front plate 1 comprising a glass plate 3 equipped with a dielectric layer 4 and a protection layer 5, or formed on a carrier plate 2 equipped with a phosphor layer 10. The said layer 8 is composed to comprise a VUV phosphor that converts VUV light into UV light of 200 to 350 nm of wavelength and emits it in the direction of the said phosphor layer 10. |
