Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the configuration of a client terminal. SOLUTION: An IC chip function installed in the client terminal 11 in a conventional method is installed in a chip driver server 31. An IC chip 14 and the server 31 connected to the terminal 11 are mutually certified through the terminal 11 and a network 12, and when the terminal 11 requests the payment service of an amount X e.g. to a service server 13, the server 13 requests processing for subtracting the amount X from a balance stored in the chip 14 to the server 31. The server 31 converts the processing request into a command and sends the command to the terminal 11, which sends the command to the chip 14 as it is. The chip 14 executes the command, subtracts the amount X from the balance and sends a response indicating the end of the processing to the sever 31 through the terminal 11 and the server 31 converts the response into data allowed to be processed by the server 13 and sends the data to the server 13. |
