Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detecting accuracy of throttle opening by compensating an output change caused by a temperature change in a throttle opening sensor during the operation of an engine. SOLUTION: Throttle opening is temporarily stopped to opener regulation opening by tension of a valve return spring 41 of an opener mechanism 47 by temporarily turning off a motor 17 each time a specified learning execution condition is established during the operation of an engine, an output value of a throttle opening sensor 18 is learnt as the opener regulation opening, and a learning value of the reference position (for example, the full closed position) is updated on the basis of the learnt value of the opener regulation opening. In learning of the opener regulation opening, since the motor 17 is turned off to temporarily stop the throttle opening to the opener regulation opening, the opener regulation opening may be learnt in an operating condition in which drivability and exhaust emission are not deteriorated (for example, in fuel cutting in slow accelerating or decelerating at the vicinity of the opener regulation opening).
