Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the straining properties and the yield of the loading material as well as increase the strength properties in the paper-making system in which a diluted polyacrylamide polymer solution is mixed with an aqueous solution of an aluminum compound and the mixture is added to the pulp slurry. SOLUTION: At least one of dilute solution of amphoteric, cationic and anionic polyacrylamide polymers is mixed with an aqueous solution of a water- soluble aluminum compound and the mixed solution is added to the pulp slurry, then at least one of dilute solutions selected from the amphoteric, cationic and anionic polyacrylamide polymer is added to the resultant pulp slurry. |
