Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facility management system for substantially reducing development time and labor required for correcting and verifying software even in the case that data and communication commands are added or changed due to the specification change of a system and the version upgrading of a machine kind, etc. SOLUTION: This facility management system is constituted of facility equipment 300 to be a management object, a facility controller 200 provided with a facility equipment input/output part 220 for transferring data with the facility equipment 300 and a data management part 230 for storing the transferred data and a central management device 100 connected with the facility controller 200 so as to perform data communication. As the data used for communication between the facility controller 200 and the central management device 100, the communication command of a text form for which a data length is variable and a data name for discriminating the data is added to data contents is used.
