Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column-column connecting structure that helps replace attracting bolts from the outside of a steel pipe column and connect steel pipe columns even in a case where an inconvenience such as fracture, damage or the like occurs in the attracting bolts used in a closed type structure to connect internally the ends of steel pipe columns. SOLUTION: In a structure that connects square steel pipe columns 1a and 1b by fitting projecting engaging portions 3 and 3 into the recess 5 of a fastening member 4 provided in the inwalls of connecting members 2 and 2 fused to square steel pipe columns 1a and 1b by attracting the fastening member 4 to the connecting members 2 and 2 through attracting bolts 6, tapped holes 7 are provided in the fastening member 4 and forward springs 6a provided in the attracting bolts 6 are screwed into the tapped holes 7, the attracting bolts 6 are threadedly engaged with the fastening member 4, and in addition, the attracting bolts 6 are passed through insertion holes 9 made up of grooves 9a and 9a formed in the connection of the connecting members 2 and 2, reverse springs 6b of the other ends of the attracting bolts 6 are exposed outside of the connecting member 2.
