Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of friction joining for aluminum corrugated plates, an aluminum corrugated plate joined by friction, and a tool for friction joining, with which a friction joined part having a sufficient strength is available, the shape of recessed and projection parts after joined is not sharp, and a burr is not formed, even when recessed and projection parts exist on the face of a plate. SOLUTION: The side faces 4 of aluminum alloy palates 1 which have recessed and projection parts on the plate face 3 are butted to each other and bound to a backing jig 5, the recessed parts 2 located at a butting part 6 are preliminarily cut off with a cutting blade 13 provided on the edge part 12 of the shoulder face 11 of the friction joining tool 7 in a manner that a sharp edge is not formed, a hard force-fitting pin 8 is inserted into the butting part 6 and moved along the butted part while the force-fitting pin 8 is rotated, thus the aluminum corrugated plates are friction-joined. |
