Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deaerate CO2 dissolved in aqueous solution at all times at a fixed condition, directly detect only the deaerated CO2, to thereby execute stably accurate measurement. SOLUTION: Sample aqueous solution containing CO2 is sucked into a syringe 3 through a multi-port valve 1 by driving a plunger 2 by a motor, 4 and thereafter the multi-port valve 1 is switched to change the inside of the syringe 3 into the sealed state in only a liquid phase. The plunger 2 is driven by the motor 4 for sucking in the sealed state to change the inside of the syringe 3 into the vacuum state, and CO2 is sucked from the sample solution to bisect the solution into a liquid phase and a gas phase. Thereafter, the multi-port valve 1 is switched to introduce carrier gas not containing CO2 from a carrier gas source 8 into the syringe 3, and successively the multi-port valve 1 is switched and the plunger 2 is driven for discharging by the motor 4, to thereby draw out mixed gas of carbon dioxide and the carrier gas in the syringe 3 to a detector 10, and to measure the CO2 quantity. |
