Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly speedy and easily evaluate the deviation of an image- formation position by a lens array from a prescribed position. SOLUTION: A point light source array 22 is arranged opposite to one lens face of the lens array 20, a slit 24 and a light receiver element 26 are arranged in such a state as being opposite to the other lens face, and while at least the assembly of the slit and the light receiving element is relatively moved in the lens element arrangement direction relative to the lens array, a receiving light scanning emitting the light from the point light source array on the lens element 28 and detecting an outgoing light from the lens element is performed. The two-dimensional position deviation of a point image caused by frequency turbulence of the received detected light quantity to the slit position is evaluated.
