Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and cheap elevator system utilizing a secondary battery by omitting a switching element necessary for a discharge action and a control circuit and a drive circuit of the switching element. SOLUTION: A power supply necessary for a device of an elevator other than a motor is directly fed from a secondary battery. A chopping element for a discharge action of the secondary battery, a driving circuit and a control circuit thereof are omitted without impairing a main function in the elevator system utilizing the secondary battery.
