Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data recording/reproducing device which can make special reproduction to be conducted, which is represented by double speed reproduction. SOLUTION: A disk array part 10 stores video data which are distributed by the control of a disk array control part 20 and inputted by interleaving. The disk array part 10 performs recording and reproduction, in parallel with respect to a plurality of hard disk devices, can improve storage capacity and transfer speed and can attain reliability which is higher than that of a single- disk device.
