Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the operational efficiency of a control device for a construction machine by enhancing the efficiency of an entire system through a reduction in loss of engine outputs, and making efficient use of the engine outputs. SOLUTION: The control device includes a plurality of engine-driven hydraulic pumps 51 and 52 for discharging hydraulic fluid in a tank; a plurality of operating members 54a to 54d operated by an operator; and control means 1 for controlling the tilt angles of the plurality of hydraulic pumps 51 and 52 to adjust the rate of discharge from the plurality of hydraulic pumps 51 and 52. The control means 1 control the tilt angles of the plurality of hydraulic pumps 51 and 52 in accordance with electric signals from the plurality of operating members 54a to 54d so that the engine outputs from the engine are optimally distributed to the plurality of hydraulic pumps 51 and 52.
