Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover metallic powder produced by cutting a reactor structure or the like, without increasing radioactive waste. SOLUTION: When the nonmagnetic metal of the reactor structure is heat-cut, the metallic powder produced at that time is magnetic. This recovery device therefore recovers the metallic powder using a magnet, that is, a magnet 3 is enclosed in a magnet storage container 9. A driving cylinder 18 is also provided in the magnet storage container 9, and the magnet 3 is fixed to the lower part tip of the driving cylinder 18. When pressurized gas is supplied to the driving cylinder 18, the driving cylinder 18 moves downward, so that the magnet 3 approaches the bottom face of the magnet storage container 9, and the metallic powder 7 is attracted to the bottom face. In this state, the magnet storage container 9 is brought into a position above a recovery container, and the driving cylinder 18 is operated to separate the magnet 3 from the bottom face of the container 9. The metallic powder 7 is therefore separated from the bottom face and dropped and recovered into the recovery container.
