Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a simple method of preparing solid formulation having an improved elution property without pulverizing mechanically in the preparation of solid drug formulation represented by 3-formylamino-7-methylsulfonylamino-6- phenoxy-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one. SOLUTION: A drug represented by 3-formylamino-7-methylsulfonylamino-6- phenoxy-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one, crystalline cellulose and disintegrator are introduced to a pelletizer, which are added with water and mixed. The wet granulation is carried out by adding binder solution. A solid formulation represented by 3-formylamino-7-methylsulfonylamino-6-phenoxy-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one prepared by this method shows excellent elution property in comparison with that of solid formulation using microcrushed materials obtained by mechanical pulverization.
