Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the number of revolutions of a grinding wheel by far is a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A rotary shaft 36 holding a grinding wheel 38b is rotatably supported on a front end of a main spindle of a machining device. The rotary shaft 36 is rotated and driven separately from main spindle drive by supplying a fluid from a main spindle side to a fluid turbine 37 provided on the rotary shaft 36 to increase a speed of grinding wheel rotation. The rotary shaft 36 is rotatably supported in a head main body of a grinding head 30 mounted at a front end of the main spindle, and fluid supply passages 31b, 33a, 33b for supplying the fluid to the fluid turbine 37 from the main spindle side are formed in the head main body.
