Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film capacitor and a resin molded part in which characteristic deterioration is prevented by reducing the possibility of the thermal damage of a capacitor element in the case of resin seal molding. SOLUTION: The film capacitor element 1 is housed in a mold, and resin- molded by filling the mold with a resin at pressure. A protective film is formed previously to the film capacitor element 1. The protective film is composed of a sealing resin, a shrinkable tube, a heat-resistant film or a heat-resistant tape.
