Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently check and readjust ionizing unit by informing its disordered spots to the user in detail. SOLUTION: A controller 16 turns a switch 14 without lighting a filament 4 and reads trap current Ir and total current It obtained at current/voltage converters 9, 13, respectively. And a disorder caused by contact of the filament or a trap electrode 6 with an ionization chamber 1 is found out by judging this Ir or It to be zero or greater than zero. When judged normal, the filament 4 is lighted and feedback controlled, and in similar manner to this, by reading the trap current Ir and total current It respectively, a deviation in mounting position of the filament 4 or trap electrode 6 or disorder caused by a broken filament 4 is found out in accordance with the value. |
