Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically obtain a lightweight roller having noncontaminability to ink, durability and damage resistance. SOLUTION: A coating material obtained by adding isocyanate to the one obtained by dissolving an ABS resin into an organic solvent is applied on the surface of a pipe stock made of a resin and is dried, after that, an electrically conductive layer is formed by an electroless plating method, moreover, an intermediate layer composed of copper or nickel plating and an outermost layer composed of chromium plating are formed by an electroplating method, the surface of the chromium plating as the outermost layer is ground in such a manner that the locus of the rotation of a roll and the locus of the rotation of abrasives are not made consistent, and the number of crests crossed with a virtual line separated by 0.06 μm outwardly to the central line of a surface roughness curve is controlled to <=20 pieces per 2.5 mm of roughness measured length. |
