Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing device capable of suitably receiving an information providing service. SOLUTION: An information providing request is outputted from a computer 204 to an information providing device 202, for example. The information providing device 202 correspondently stores information, which is peculiarly added to each of persons, specifying the person and event information related to the relevant person in a storage means and when the information providing request containing the information specifying the person is received, while using the information, which is contained in the relevant information providing request, specifying the person as a retrieval key, the event information stored in the storage means is read out. Then, the relevant event information is outputted to the computer 204.
