Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable chain which can improve durability and reduce noise and abrasion powder by preventing the meandering caused by a movable member and accordingly avoiding excessive tensile force on a hinge connecting chain unit members. SOLUTION: Plural chain units, each comprising side plates standing at both edges of a support plate, are connected to one another by means of the sheet hinges to form a certain length of a cable chain. One end of the cable chain is fixed to a fixing frame and the other end is fixed to a movable member reciprocating on the fixing member so as to curvedly guide a cable housed between the side plates of the chain unit members along the chain. To each side plate, a meandering control unit is fitted comprising a detachable fitting holder and a rotation member rotatably attached to a shaft fixed vertically on the side surface of the fitting holder so as to abut against a contact member opposite to the side surface of the running chain units.
