Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To slide a loading tray at a series of as-prescribed continuos speeds regardless of a change in environmental conditions with a reproducing device for optical disks constituted to slide the loading tray 3 so as to take projecting and housing positions with respect to an apparatus body. SOLUTION: A series of the continuous applied voltages that a drive power source 8 is ought to supply to an output motor 16 for sliding the loading tray 3 at a series of the continuous speeds in use at a series of the continuous speeds and under the use environment conditions under which frequencies are normally highest in sliding of the loading tray 3 are previously set and stored in an arithmetic means 21. If the set speeds described above are not obtainable when the loading tray 3 is slid by outputting these voltages to the output motor 16 in actuality, an instruction output for properly correcting the applied voltages to the output motor 16 is outputted to the drive power source 8 from the arithmetic means 21.
