Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of the train stop control using a loop coil. SOLUTION: A train stop control device sends the stop signal for indicating the stop of a train from a loop coil toward the train when a train intrudes while riding over the stop limit. A ground side of this train stop control device is provided with an applying means for applying the stop signal and the nonstop signal to the loop coil, an applying control means for applying the nonstop signal when a stop of the train is set within the stop limit and for applying the stop signal except for the described case, a fail detecting means for detecting a fail of the device when the stop signal or the nonstop signal from the loop coil is not received. An train side of this train stop control device is provided with a receiver means for receiving the stop signal and the nonstop signal, and a detecting means for detecting a fail of the device when any one of the stop signal and the nonstop signal is not received.
