PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for broadcasting an event, which can simply and inexpensively solve the problems in a conventional television broadcasting method that a large amount of man-hours and costs are required for broadcasting at a time because a large scale of machines and materials have to be carried to an event hall for each broadcasting and many expert engineers and work assistants have to attend the event hall and engage in site to work during the preparation period and the broadcasting time. SOLUTION: A video camera 4 of an image pickup device, a microphone 9 of a sound collection device, and a filled use computer 8 or the like are installed in a hall such as a live house 1 where events such as a concert or a play are daily held, video information and audio information outputted from the image pickup device and the sound collection device are given to the filled computer 8 in digital signals, stores the digital signals in the computer, which transmits the digital information to a distribution computer 14 through a communication channel 10 or the like at a proper interval, and the distribution computer 14 distributes the information to many unspecified viewers through the communication channel 10 (Internet).
