Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic train control device capable of surely guaranteeing the continuity of train control and capable of improving an effective speed of travel control in a car-mounted device when controlling a train on a roadway where long and short tracks mixedly exist. SOLUTION: A frame telegraphic message transmission means 20 arranged in a station on a roadway and an aboveground apparatus room is provided with a speed control logic block 40 of a train TR, and this block is provided with an information forming part 42 for control information for receiving command information S41 and the information storage area 43a. Respective control information reproducing means 30 mounted in the train TR are provided with an ATC car-mounted device 50 for the travel control, and this device is provided with a telegraphic message sorting part 51 for an independent telegraphic message and a composite telegraphic message, a telegraphic message storage area 52a for the composite telegraphic message and an information decoding part 53 on the basis of these telegraphic message groups.
