Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a code error without receiving the control of a microcomputer. SOLUTION: Address information is captured and held into an address information register 31. The address information held in the address information register 31 is subjected to decision as to whether the values of respective digits exist within adequate ranges or not by a range check circuit 32. When the state that the value of any of the digit of the address information does not exist within the adequate range is continuous for a prescribed period, an interruption signal is generated so as to stop the processing of digital data.
