Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor core flow rate, without being affected by long-term aging change in a reactor pressure vessel and correct and calibrate it, as the need arises. SOLUTION: The system comprises a narrow-band reactor water level detector 11 and a wide-band reactor water level detector 12 for respectively detecting the reactor water level in the reactor pressure vessel 1 in a narrow band and a wide band, a differential pressure detector 36 for detecting the difference of the indicated reactor water level detected with the reactor water level detectors 11 and 12, a core flow rate calculation apparatus 38 for calculating a core flow rate equivalent value from the detected differential pressure signal 37 and a reactor state measurement signal 40, having measured the nuclear- thermal hydraulic state in the pressure vessel 1, and a core flow rate monitor 39 for monitoring the obtained core flow rate.
