Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for a gas cooling drying in a simple way without pressure fluctuation in a cooling circuit and without a large abrasion and breackage of a commpressor and its motor and capable of saving energy. SOLUTION: In a device for a cooling drying 10 formed of a heat exchanger (1), a chief part of the heat exchanger (1) is an evaporator (2) of a cooling circuit (3). The cooling circuit is further provided with a compressor (5) driven by a motor (4). The compressor has a bypass formed by a bypass closing element (18) and a closing element (19) for opening/closing. A second part (1A) of the heat exchanger (1) forms a gas duct (9) part. A liquid separator (11) is arranged at the outlet of the heat exchanger (1). The device has a speed adjusting means (15) for the motor (4) which is controlled by a controller (16) on the basis of figures measured by measuring means (22, 22A).
