Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instantaneously communicate that an gate arm is broken. SOLUTION: One end of the gate arm is provided with a switch comprising two contact-mounted pieces, while a retention member retains a state where the two contact-mounted pieces sandwich the retention member. One end of a wire is connected to the retention member, while the other end is connected to the other end of the gate arm. When the gate arm receives a shock, the wire pulls the retention member to remove the retention member from between the contact-mounted pieces. The switch shows whether the gate arm is in a normal state or a broken state. When the gate arm is normal, the retention member is sandwiched between the two contact-mounted pieces of the switch and retains the normal state. When the gate arm is broken, the wire is pulled from the other end of the crossing bar to remove the retention member from the switch. A state of the switch changes to a broken state of the gate arm from an unbroken state of the gate arm. |
