PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector device in which a frame connector is directly integrated to a component frame. SOLUTION: An electrical connector device 10 is provided for interfacing between a component frame 12 and a printed circuit board 14. The assembly includes a board connector 16 for mounting on a surface 18 of the printed circuit board 14 and a frame connector 24 mounted on the component frame 12. The connectors 16, 24 are mated in a mating direction nearly perpendicular to the printed circuit board 14. Complementary engaging tongues 46, 48 and grooves 50, 52 are provided between the frame connector 24 and the component frame 12 and extended nearly perpendicularly to the mating direction for engaging the frame connector 24 with the component 12. The tongues 46, 48 and the grooves 50, 52 are of different sizes to polarize the frame connector 24 relative to the component frame 12. Latches 54, 56 are provided between the frame connector 24 and the component frame 12 for holding the connector 24 engaged with the component frame 12.
