Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a user of the state of partial ejection of a CD from a CD insertion slot after the end of CD playing in an easily understood manner in a CD player possibly used in the dark. SOLUTION: This drive is provided with a case 2 having a disk driving mechanism 5 for holding and rotationally driving a CD 3 and a disk insertion/ ejection slot 4 for inserting/ejecting the CD 3, a light source 7 provided such that a light is transmitted through the light transmission layer 1 of the CD 3, and the light is leaked from the disk insertion/ejection slot 4, and a light source control unit 8 for controlling the lighting/extinguishing of the light source 7. The light source control unit 8 lights the light source 7 at least when the CD 3 held by the disk driving mechanism 5 becomes a state shown by A in the drawing. Thus, the light from the light source 7 is passed through the light transmission layer 31 of the CD 3, leaked out of the CD 3 set in the ejection state shown by A in the drawing, and the ejection state of the CD 3 is notified to a user. |
