Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic laying out method which can recognize the arrangement position of an object arranged in a prescribed space and can highly efficiently arrange the object in the arrangement position. SOLUTION: An object arranged state is evaluated based on three-dimensional data on the prescribed space 1 and three-dimensional data on the object M arranged in the prescribed space 1. Then, the arranged position of the object M is decided based on the evaluation result. Thus, the arrangement position is displayed on the display of a personal computer and the space covering the arranged state of the object M can be recognized. Then, the object can actually and efficiently be arranged at the arrangement position in the prescribed space by following the display information.
