PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the control volume of air in a fermentation vessel adjustable in the moving direction of an organic matter such as garbage or exertion without the entry of the air into the organic matter fermentation vessel and enhance the treating efficiency of the organic matter and perform its fermentation/ decomposition process in a short time by fermenting the organic matter under optimal conditions, in an air supply device for a large-size organic matter fermentation vessel to be used at a rapid composting installation for the organic matter such as the garbage generated at a wholesale market, a food processing factory or the like and the excretion generated at a livestock yard and enable rapid composting of the organic matter. SOLUTION: The air supply device for the organic fermentation vessel 2 has an internally installed air supply main pipe 6 with a plurality of dispersed branch pipes 7 in the organic matter fermentation vessel 2 and the air supply main pipe 6 has an internally installed air volume regulator 10 for each of the dispersed breach pipes 7, for which the air volume is regulated. The air volume regulator 10 provided for each of the branch pipes 7 is actuated directly by hand or by means of a remote-controlling rod 13 and thus the air volume of each of the dispersed branch pipes 7 is regulated.
