Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove wrinkles generated in a metal band by the warpage of an insulating intermediate plate generated when the metal band is folded back along the end surface of the insulating intermediate plate. SOLUTION: Long strip-like metal bands 4, 5 are drawn out of reels 6,7 and folded back and bent while a sheetlike synthetic resin material 2 and an insulating intermediate plate 3 are alternately superposed to form a laminated block 1 wherein the metal bands 4, 5, the sheetlike synthetic resin material 2 and the insulating intermediate plate 3 are laminated in a multistage fashion. When the metal bands 4, 5 are folded back and bent along the end surface of the insulating intermediate plate 3 under tension, upper and lower slide rolls 26, 27 are raised to temporarily loosen the tension applied to the metal bands 4, 5 to slacken the metal bands 4, 5. The upper and lower slide rolls 26, 27 are allowed to fall to again apply tension to the metal bands 4, 5. The wrinkles generated in the metal bands 4, 5 are removed by the restoring force acting on the metal bands 4, 5 when tension is loosened. |
