Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a horn antenna and a primary radiator small in size and light in weight without deteriorating performance. SOLUTION: A conical horn part 11 is provided at the point of a circular waveguide part 11a, and a patch element 16 for a circularly polarized wave formed on an antenna substrate 15 is arranged inside the part 11a. The part 11a is terminated with a prescribed distance separated from the rear face of the element 16. Thus, it is possible to make the depth of a radiator case 10 short and to make the primary radiator small in size and light in weight. It is further possible to make the horn antenna and the primary radiator a wideband because the element 16 is terminated through an air layer. |
