Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain security, and to simplify management in plural electronic documents constituted of a plurality of files whose formats are different. SOLUTION: This device for managing plural electronic documents constituted of a plurality of files FL1-3 whose formats are different is provided with a means for registering attribute tables ZT1-3 being attribute information including the name of the file, the number of pages, and the sequence of arrangement for each of the files FL1-3 into a management table KT, and a means for integrating the files FL1-3 into a single file FM1 and registering an attribute table ZT4 for performing access to the integrated single file FM1 into the management table KT.
